*5 out of 5 stars* The ocean views along this trail are incredibly beautiful and the blue hues of the water are shockingly vibrant. This stop is definitely worth visiting, we really loved this hike!
About the place:
The Cape Flattery Trail is a beautiful 1.5 mile round trip hike that takes you on a boardwalk along the coast of Washington. The walk out to the viewpoints is fairly easy as it’s mostly downhill, but the hike back up can be tiring. This trail does tend to get busy, so it’s best to get here earlier in the day or later in the afternoon. Dogs are welcome on this trail as long as leashed. It’s important to note that you will need to purchase a $20 Makah Reservation Permit that lasts for one year. We purchased our permit at the Makah Tribal Marina on the day of our adventure. If you’re looking for a full list of places to buy the permit, please visit https://makah.com/attractions/recreation-permits/.
How to get there:
The parking lot for Cape Flattery is located on Cape Loop Road in Neah Bay. The Marina where we purchased our permit is about 15 mins from here on Bayview Ave.

*5 out of 5 stars* We really loved this little hike and the waterfall at the end is a great reward! We also enjoyed looking at all the moss and large trees along the way!
About the place:
The hike to Marymere Falls is a beautiful and fairly easy 1.8 mile roundtrip hike that starts out flat and then gradually increases. Be sure to pay attention to the signs as you hike, the trail splits off a few times so it can be easy to go the wrong way. At the end of the trail there’s a gorgeous view of the 90-foot waterfall. Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted on this trail.

Our Rating:
*5 out of 5 stars* This is one of my all time favorite places I’ve ever been. The sand on shore has been replaced with the some of the most beautiful little rocks brought in by the waves. Along with that, the views here are truly incredible. I could’ve sat here and stared at this view forever.
About the place:
There’s no hike needed to access Rialto Beach, you just have to park the car and walk over the hill. This is definitely the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen, it’s a must see while visiting the Pacific North West. You’re welcome to bring your dogs on this beach as long they’re leashed, but if you decide to walk the shoreline, dogs are only allowed as far as Ellen Creek. If you choose to, you can take the 3.3 mile round trip hike to the Hole-In-The-Wall but unfortunately you can’t bring you’re dogs on this hike.
