*4 out of 5 stars* This trail in Cuyahoga Velley National Park is super fun to explore! There were tons of cliffs, caves and even a couple petroglyphs to see. We had a blast exploring through here and definitely recommend it if you’re in the area.

About the place:

This beautiful hike is a 1.8 mile loop that has tons of little trails off of the main loop trail. Most of the small trails through the caves and such lead back to the main loop so you don’t have to worry too much about getting lost. We were even able to find a horse & human petroglyphs carved into the sides of one of these massive cliffs. These carvings are said to be done over 200 years ago by William Goeppert who had owned the land at the time.

How to get there:

The road to the Ledges Trail is off of Kendall Park Road just before it changes to Truxell Road. There’s a large parking lot about a 1/2 mile down this un-named road. Follow the trail from here and follow the signs to the Ledges Trail.
